The patios of Andalusia put an essential accent on the physiognomy of the town. There are popular and aristocratic ones. In the former, the white lime of the walls predominates, which the trellis of the trailing plants and the water well in the center. In the latter, symmetry reigns, in the marble of the columns and pavement and the fountains. The flowers are the common denominator of them both.
The iron railings and the balconies are in flowery rivalry with the patios, and in the spring, they become magnificent floral displays.
